GIC is one of the best platforms available to students at Michigan to learn and develop a perspective on a diverse array of topics. The learning opportunities are complemented by the tight-knit community and mentorship that the club offers. Overall, GIC was integral to my personal and professional growth during my time at Michigan.Aditya Banerji Class of 2019
GIC provided me with an invaluable bridge between fundamentals learned in the classroom and technical skills necessary for a career in finance. As a sophomore, I learned quickly under the guidance of club leaders, and was pleased to see that trend continue each year as upperclassmen consistently devote their time to helping younger members be successful. As an alum, I remember GIC as the most transformative experience I had at Ross and am grateful for all the strong friendships the club gave me.William Laffrey Class of 2018
GIC was critical to my development as a professional and a person. Whether you need help in accounting, preparing for an interview, or a network of alumni to introduce you to a new city, GIC provides it. Members would be there for me at any hour with interview advice or encouraging me during recruiting season. Joining GIC is joining a lifelong network of professionals and friends.Hannah Sabey Class of 2019
GIC was the most useful and enjoyable organization I was a part of. The diversity of thought and mixing of social circles creates a vibrant canvas for thought-provoking discussions. GIC discussions are stimulating, members are extremely bright and accomplished, and the E-Board is always there to help you in any way you need. I met many of my best friends in GIC, and believe it's the single most valuable organization you can join on campus.Jeremy Simon Class of 2017
Joining GIC was the most transformational experience during my time in college. Not only did it provide an outlet to refine the fundamentals I learned in class, but it also created a support network of upper and underclassmen to share ideas with. At any given moment there was someone I could turn to for advice about recruiting, modeling, and classes - each acknowledging the importance of procuring feedback from multiple perspectives. What makes GIC unique is the culture it has created regardless of your level of experience: rather than competing with one another, GIC understands that careers are only successful when you build each other up.
