Education Sessions

GIC hosts weekly education sessions for its members that gives them a holistic understanding of key concepts in finance and accounting. Additionally, GIC hosts financial modeling workshops, career days, interview preparation workshops and Bloomberg/FactSet training tutorials which allows members to gain the technical skills as well as a strong foundation for recruiting. GIC utilizes the Tozzi Center to provide members with the experience of using industry-wide, state-of-the-art technology.

Mentorship Program

GIC has a structured mentorship program through which all freshman and sophomore members are offered the opportunity to be paired with a mentor based on their academic and career aspirations. This gives each member a chance to develop a personal relationship with a junior or senior student who will be able to give them individualized support and advice throughout the term.

Alumni Network

GIC has a vast and extensive alumni network across a wide breadth of careers both within and outside the US. The alumni network helps GIC organize private recruiting opportunities for the members. Additionally, GIC alumni are involved in the club's activities as senior advisors to investment teams within the club. The breadth of the GIC network in combination with the strong close-knit culture of the club is an invaluable resource for the club members.
